Story

The game features a nameless Templar who finds herself trapped in a cursed temple, an oppressive place where she must prove her faith through brutal trials. The temple is a place of mystery, suffering and nightmarish creatures. The temple's inhabitants are fanatics devoted to an obscure divine force, and see suffering as a means to redemption.

As she progresses, the Templar discovers the dark secrets of the temple and the origin of the curse that hangs over its inhabitants. She confronts ancient warriors, corrupt priests and demonic creatures as she attempts to understand the true nature of faith and sacrifice. The game explores themes of religious fanaticism, pain and destiny, constantly confronting the player with difficult choices.

The story is told in a fragmented way, through notes, cryptic dialogues and clues scattered throughout the environment, leaving much to the player's interpretation.
